Details:

The same mail to the bug-gnulib mailing list was archived
here:
  http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.gnulib.bugs/12817
and here:
  http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-gnulib/2008-03/msg00028.html

Look at the last paragraph. You can see that the archiving
on lists.gnu.org has inserted additional line breaks. This
is inappropriate because a lot of patches and source code
are sent to this mailing list, and we want users to be able
to copy & paste this source code. Patches do not work when
extra line breaks are inserted. Source code also often does
not work when extra line breaks are inserted.

Can you please turn them off, at least for the gnulib
project?
