Hmm, I don't know.

Can you try using only
  cvs update
in your working copy?

In principle cvs does not expect to be run with "checkout" when it's an
update, or by specifying a repository explicitely (-d) while already in a
working copy.


I cannot reproduce the problem here, but maybe it's specific to the sunos
port. In this case, you may get help from the CVS mailing list at
address@hidden
