Description:
------------
GoldenBackup is a very simple backup program. It creates a bz2 tarball of
any item found in any users ~/.goldenbackup.conf as long as it is in a
subdirectory of their home directory.
It keeps one daily backup, four weekly backups and infinite monthly backups.
It's meant to be run out of cron.daily.
Source code temporarily available on:
http://developer.skolelinux.no/~zerodogg/GoldenBackup
I currently run it on my server and it appears to run nicely.
Other Software Required:
------------------------
tar
bzip2
perl
perl modules:
File::Basename
POSIX
Cwd
And likely in the future: File::Compare
All of which are (at least I think they are) a part of any base perl
installation.
