######### REGISTRATION DETAILS #########

Full Name:
----------
  Web Documentation Typesetter

System Group Name:
-----------------
  wdt

Type:
-----
  non-GNU software & documentation

License:
--------
  Modified BSD License

Description:
------------
    Web Documentation Typesetter (WDT for short) is a program for formatting
documents for publication in web sites. It is more suitable for writing
articles about programming.
  wdt's syntax is something like a hybrid of GNU Troff and that used in
Wikis.

  Main concepts:
    * Syntax highlighting of source code;
    * Converting from LaTeX and DocBook to wdt;
    * Fully configurable presentation of output files (using macros);
    * Licensed under GPL ;)
    * Small size, speed, portability.

  Well, there is a lot of ideas, which we'll try to implement.

  Because the project just started, there is no working source code for now
(well, there are only a classes definitions, i.e. header files and empty
functions implementations).

  Technical aspects:
    * Written in C++
    * GNU Flex and Bison used
    * Support for macro files
    * Scripting in documents (e.g. if-then-else structures)
    * Valid XHTML or HTML in output.

  Well, nothing more to say.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
  flex, bison, highlight
(http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/h/highlight/highlight_2.4.2.orig.tar.gz)
