Description:

A BASH script for playing movies and audio files in MPLAYER
(hmplayerhq.hu). This script gets some information about played file and
changes mplayer options - enables filters, subtitles, different sound outputs
etc. You don't have to change the mplayer config or put complicated options
in the command line any more.
For example this script is able to:
- make black borded on bottom and top of the movie screen in XV and X11
output
- play subtitles in black bottom borded
- decode DolbySurround sound from 2 spearkers to 4
- shift strange speakers sound in matroska movies to a standard spearkers
configuration
- enable postprocesing ( 0 - 4 stages)
- boost the sound digitally
- automaticly reset mixer configuration to a default settings
- change the font to a nice looking and easy to read
Other Software Required:

mplayer - multiplatform media player
bc - calculator
bash - system shell.
Nothing more really...
