Description:

  Skribilo is a document production system derived from Skribe [0].  It aims
at allowing for the production of documents in a wide range of output formats
(HTML, Lout, LaTeX, etc.) from a single source file, while providing
fine-grain control over the output for each specific format.  It comes with a
number of packages that provide markups to produce colored program source,
formatted equations, pie charts, etc.

At first sight, Skribilo is yet another ``markup'' language, not unlike HTML,
XML, etc.   However, Skribilo provides a complete, modular ``document
programming framework'' based on the Scheme language, that makes it easy to
customize document production or to write new packages.
It uses GNU Guile as the underlying Scheme implementation.

The current code base is available in my Arch archive [1] or at the following
