Follow-up Comment #9, task #6095 (project administration):

Patrick,
   first of all sorry to be so late. I was looking for the original author of
the code where I derived ifconfig.py but was unable to find him so I found
another way working with a friend of mine at his project that is written in
C.

I substituted ifconfig.py with iflist.py that now use ioctl. The new file
iflist.c is the C source code I used as a base for iflist.py. 

I added the README file as you suggested with LICENSE paragraph. The new code
is at http://www.linux.it/~sc/files/pywol.tar.bz2.

Again I beg your pardon for the time you lost on my registration.
