==== Description: ====
"Wave Harp" is the name of my program (http://efhm.com/wharp.c) and I hope it
will be a useful music creation device. It uses the fluidsynth library to
provide a means of triggering samples and will act somewhat like the famous
vkeybd program in creating a stream of MIDI messages. I've been torn is
choosing a sample format to use and I may need some assistance in getting my
program to fall within savannah's guidelines.

==== Other Software Required: ====
Fluidsynth and gtk+ 2.0

==== Other Comments: ====
I currently support the SoundFont sample format due to the large availability
of free SoundFont libraries. If this format is deemed too proprietary (the
format has been published) I may need to include support for a more free
format. My understanding is that there are some competing free formats out
there, but none with much support and I might need to write a program which
converts SoundFonts into a more free format. My mind is very open and I very
much want to host my project here, supporting the fantastic advocacy of RMS
and contributing to the creation of a happier digital world. --Marc
