==== Description: ====
The purpose of this project is to develop a C++ library of utility functions
and classes built on top of gtkmm and glibmm. For a while an idea about such
a common library has been floating around in the GNOME C++ community. It will
offer both new functionality and "shortcut code" to reduce code size in
application programs. A significant portion of the code has already been
written and needs to be packaged and maintained.
Currently the features ready to be imported in a repository can be classified
into following categories:
- date and time
- string
- option parsing
- logging
- dialog launching
about the future, there's probably going to be more related to:
- GUI code
- easy GConf access
- XML parsing
- dynamic module loading
I've just cleaned up a bit and uploaded the initial code to
http://www.marko.anastasov.name/gtkmm-utils-0.1.0.tar.gz
These source files have GPL notices in them, as they've been originally
written within GPL-licensed projects. This library will be licensed under the
LGPL and the notices will be changed appropriately, I just haven't got to
doing it yet.
==== Other Software Required: ====
gtkmm
glibmm
and their dependencies
