==== Description: ====
picogen is meant to be a terrain rendering system, that is, a graphics
software to display terrain (with plants, water, etc.) in a realistic or maybe
artistic way; it's name comes from the negotiation of 'terragen', a famous but
unfortunately proprietary software to render terrain.

The software is of course not limitied to terrain rendering, but it may also
be used for displaying e.g. Cornell Boxes or other scenes.

The name 'picogen' refers both to the rendering kernel, and to the whole set
of tools that is to be created (for example a GUI (actually a long term
project), a heightmap visualizer, a compiler for the scene description
language 'picotera', and more).
