==== Description: ====
Noteland is a desktop application for editing and sharing notes. The local
storage context is synchronized with a remote home repository. This enables
editing notes from multiple locations and devices.
The focus of Noteland is on privacy, security, and accessibility.
Privacy: data is always encrypted before being stored or transmitted, so that
both the local storage context and remote home repository is private. It is
decentralized, so it can be setup for your personal use, or setup to be shared
between users. The data is unintelligible and obscured from reading or
analysis, so it can be trusted on any web hosting provider.
Security: all information is versioned and redundant to avoid data loss.
Unauthorized changes are noticed to avoid tampering.
Accessibility: the QT desktop application is cross platform, and the API easy
to use so that applications can be written for mobile devices. The data is
decentralized so that is can be accessed from anywhere. Also, since it can be
hosted on any domain having no more than PHP, it is less likely to be singled
out for blocking by various proxies.
==== Other Software Required: ====
Uses QT GPL version, PHP and SQLite
==== Tarball URL: ====
