OK. Done.

The GPL is already in the tarball (file LICENSE). I renamed the file to GPL
now.

That's weird. The files are inside a directory. When I unpack the tarball
with
"tar -xvzf cdeskenv-0_savannah_preview.tar.gz" the directory cdeskenv is
created with all the files in it.

I uploaded a new tarball with the suggested changes:
