Follow-up Comment #4, task #10458 (project administration):

Nicodemo, the problem is the text quoted below:

Any redistribution must include the
acknowledgment, “This product includes software developed by Dartmouth
College,” in any related documentation ...

That is equivalent to the "advertising clause" in the original BSD license
(http://www.xfree86.org/3.3.6/COPYRIGHT2.html#6) and hence is incompatible
with the GPL.

If Dartmouth requires it, it precludes hosting on savannah.  Very unfortunate
all round.  If it's really optional, then of course that's fine.
