==== Description: ====
Gambit is a cross-platform chess interface.
For the future, it aims at the following features:
* Online play (through free chess protocols).
* PGN file editing.
* Game analysis (uses a chess engine to analyse a game and creates a
thorough summary).
Eventually, I will also create my own chess engine (AI) and include it in
Gambit (or I might choose to register another project for it).
Mostly, Gambit is programmed in C++, with parts in C. It uses the Qt
library
for a modern graphical user interface (in comparison, xboard uses X11).
What is also noteworthy, I think, is that I want to create a version of
Gambit
that runs on the Neo FreeRunner (a smartphone that runs on free software).
