==== Description: ====
Quint is a graphical user interface for GNU Octave written in Qt. In contrast
to the currently most developed QtOctave, Quint uses a terminal emulation
instead of communicating with Octave over pipes which makes it possible to
make full use of GNU Readline. It is written in C/C++ using Qt and does direct
calls via the Octave API, to directly access symbol tables and other
information. Also, it reuses parts of Konsole (Terminal emulation widget) and
QtOctave. For better maintenance, it displays the bugtracker directly in the
application making use of Webkit, as well as integrates the documentation. It
is aimed to make MATLAB users feel familiar with Octave, hence the user
interface uses the same terms that are used in MATLAB.

==== Other Software Required: ====
Octave + GPL
Qt + LGPL
