Hi,
I asked some other hackers about the case. It is not an Official GNU package,
but that's generally not a problem, as we approve non-GNU projects, too.
There are two other main points:
First, for hosting it on Savannah, you need to make sure that your patch works
with a fully free version of the Linux kernel, namely Linux-libre. The
"original" Linux kernel contains blobs, which are considered non-free, and
thus is incompatible with our hosting requirements. For hosting your patch,
you need to make sure it works with Linux-libre.
Second, you should give a statement, what exactly you are hosting on the
repository. It's a difference whether it contains a whole kernel or only some
diffs.
Also, the system name is misleading, as "mach-moxart" looks like referring to
the Mach kernel. But that's a minor problem, because I could change it to
"linux-moxart" or similar.
