==== Description: ====
NoNet is a VERY light and simple tool written in C for banning applications
from using network.
The rule is simple: this tool overrides socket related system calls to always
return error. This blocks the program from using sockets, the networking
base.
But this has few limitations:
- Programs linked statically against libc
- Programs that change the environment variable LD_PRELOAD, not caring about
its previous value
- Programs that connect using IPC to another process which does the
networking for them
==== Other Software Required: ====
glibc LGPL 2.1 http://www.gnu.org/software/glibc
==== Other Comments: ====
LICENSING: Please note that there is no copyright notice in config.h.in. It is
automatically generated by autoheader which puts FSF notice there.
