Follow-up Comment #2, task #14955 (project administration): Of course: Synology is a manufacturer of networked storage appliances. These devices can run a service called DownloadStation which is essentially a download manager that downloads remote data through various protocols (such as bittorrent) directly to the network storage. Interaction with that service (i.e. adding and removing download tasks) typically happens through a web interface.
