I created an email list for my project but didn't use it much.
Do you want to just disable the list (themnemeproject-general I assume)
entirely?
I'm no longer able to recover my password.
It's not possible to recover the list administrator password, anyway,
only the password as a subscriber.
I'll reset the admin pw and send you separate email with it.
It says my email isn't valid.
Baffled by that.
The reason I ask is I just received a request to moderate some spam
somebody posted to it.
Not to worry, it's already been deleted. By default, mailing lists
created through savannah, including yours I see, are set up to use an
antispam system that deletes junk asychronously
(http://listhelper.nongnu.org). So you don't need to worry about
messages telling you about spam. Personally, I filter them with a
procmail pattern like this:
^Subject: confirm [a-f0-9]{40}
Alternatively, if you don't want to get the "immediate" notifications at
all, we can use a placeholder address for the administrator -- you'd
still be able to log in to mailman and do whatever with the list, if you
want to keep it.
Best,
Karl
