Hi. I can confirm the bug.
I have checked in a fix in the unicode++ branch:

The patch you attached here doesn't seem to fix the problem for me (in
'master'). The fix in the unicode++ wouldn't quite work in 'master', either.
Instead, could you please see if the attached patch works for you?
