Hey,

I wrote quick shell function, seems to work both with bash and zsh

cd () {
        builtin cd $@
        if [[ ${STY} ]]; then
                screen -S "${STY}" -X chdir ${PWD}
        fi
}

and does it automatically, ie you don't need to run some shortcuts etc.
