I do not have experience with such environments,
the simplest way to check is to try it (if you have access to mingw
running on windows without cygwin).
If it helps, you can find compiled version of sed for 32 and 64 bit
windows OS here:
http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/sed/
Please note these are untested and unsupported versions.
