We are trying to rectify the problem of slow creation of LOs on the SELF platform. We noticed that there are about 8threads for postgres for each database. However when we are trying to add a resource, only one thread is working, and takes all the cpu resource for a while.
This behaviour is uniform both on the beselfish as well as the Mumbai server.
we need to find out how to make writing process faster, and use alternate threads. any ideas about how to break the method of construcing an LO to enhance performace.
