Instead of fixing the code, I decided to revert those files to the
previous versions. I should have at least tried compiling the patch
before committing. I would not have fixed it and then committed it
since I have to assume that a patch which doesn't compile, hasn't been
sufficiently tested.

Sorry for breaking the build, current cvs should be working again now.

Keith, can you please re-submit your patch once it is in a working
state?
