I do understand Knut. I'll have to reveiw these things later.
I can say that I am probably mistaken, but at the time I thought I
needed to build the shared libraries differently for different language
bindings...
I'd rather help you get your projects up and running (and documentation
written) than chase this down right now I think, merits of the
suggestions aside.
I'll look at the documentation you sent as soon as I can. (and I have
that other item to send you too :-p )
