Details:

For systems where ./configure had to be run with explicit
--with-bfd-path/--with-libiberty-path options, these options
are not properly propagated into the separate configure step
that is run inside the distcheck environment.

Consequently, "make distcheck" eventually aborts:

configure: error:
    Could not locate libbfd.a or bfd.h.
    Please use the --with-bfd-path=<path to your libbfd library>

*** Error code 1
