Summary:  Rotating and flipping text doesn't work

Original Submission:  When rotating or flipping text, the text doesn't stay
alligned and doesn't show within its bounding box.

In any case turning text into a curve and rotating that
doesn't produce the same visual result as rotating the
text around the same point.
