I became suspicious because there was no 'on run' corruption, but the
Ptree database was corrupted even if it was just generated.

So I've tried to build the PTree on another machine, with exactly the
same software configuration (a freshly Squeeze install), and it worked.

This fact told me that the problem wasn't in the software but in the
environment.

A this point I was lucky: changing the kernel from the lenny's one to
the squeeze's one, I've broke my ntpd, because on kernels based on
PVOPS the jiffies clocksource resolution is even worse than in the ones
based on  xen-patch.
This pointed me on the clock issue, because I know that the PTree/KDB
synchronization is time based.
