[Slib-discuss] slib install problem

I get this upon starting MIT Scheme (9.1.1/15.3):

$ scheme -load /usr/share/slib/mitscheme.init

I'm a total beginner just starting with The Little Schemer and I wanted to use the debugging software in slib. Specifically, I want to step through some code.
