The explanation that twitter would be a part of the fediverse is a
little bit strange. Statusnet/GNU Social just acts like a twitter-client.
People on twitter cannot talk to users from GS.
And if you really would see it that way, then friendica would be the
biggest network, because:
- It speaks natively with GS
- It speaks natively with Diaspora
- There are bidirectional connectors to the following networks:
- app.net
- twitter
- facebook
- pump.io
- GS (additionally to the native support)
