What you actually need is Fedora's libgdl (runtime dependency) and
libgdl-devel (build requirement) packages. In Fedora 'gdl' is the 'GNU
Data Language'; and 'libgdl' is the 'GNOME Devtool libraries' whose
upstream name is 'gdl'.
Once we make RPM and Deb packages these problems will be solved.
