[Straw-devel] moving on and removing deprecated APIs

Hi guys,

I just want to ask if everyone is in favour of migrating Straw to the "modern"
GTK API? It's just that I can't properly test stuff if I'm losing widgets
(e.g. the OptionMenu deprecation  - ComboBox replacement). This would also
silent all those deprecation warnings we're getting.

Comments and suggestions are very welcome.
