Cant see list of shoutcase stations, streamtuner frozen

Hi,

I'm running Fedora Core 1 and I tried installing rpm's and tried 
compiling the source.  I can start streamtuner but when I click the 
shoutcast tab, the status bar on the bottom says it's trying to connect 
to http://www.shoutcast.com......   but then the application freezes no 
matter how long I wait.   Do I need a different version of wget or 
something to get the http:// download working?

Any help would be appreciated, looking forward to listing to some 
shoutcast stations :)
