streamtuner-local does not display ID3 tags correctly.

While building packages of streamtuner and plugins for possible inclusion in
future versions of SUSE Linux I encountered this bug.
Only the first character of an id3 tag field is displayed. This all is
happening on a AMD64 machine with the current version of streamtuner and
plugin and libid3tag is 0.15.1b.
Where should I start to debug?
