Hi,
I'm running Fedora Core 1, KDE 3.2, StreamTuner 0.11.1, xmms 1.2.9.
uname -a: Linux moe 2.4.22-1.2174.nptl #1 Wed Feb 18 16:38:32 EST 2004 i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux
I have the option "Always refresh categories" set to 'yes'.
The only thing that I have changed in the StreamTuner options is to tell it to
use Mozilla-Firebird to open a url, and that was done long before this
problem started.
2 days ago, everything was working perfectly.
This problem started when StreamTuner was unable to refresh the categotries
upon opening. No categories were listed, and when I clicked the link to
ShoutCast, I saw a message in a blank page about 'too many users'.
Now, when I open StreamTuner, it *will* refresh the categories. When I click
any stream in any category, I get the message, "Unable to tune in Stream is
empty." Refreshing the categories does not help.
When I use my browser to navigate to the ShoutCast website, and click the
"Tune In" icon on any stream, I choose to open the .pls file in xmms. xmms
will open and display the 'choose file' dialog (indicating that it sees no
stream?), if I choose Totem to play the file, it just sits there watiing for
the stream.
If I actually navigate to the website that hosts the stream
(www.absbluescast.com), then I can play the stream in either xmms or totem.
I understand that this *may not* be a StreamTuner issue, but would really
appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance. :-)
