Yep, my thinking is that with new features like this we should get
them into the repo early, then work on them.

There's the bug tracker.  We can configure the fields available so we
could (say) have separate categories for actual bugs and areas we want
to improve.  There's also a wishlist on the wiki.

I think a roadmap would be a bit too formal - I can't honestly see us
ever thinking more than 1 release ahead.
