Hi Nico,
There's no event driven way to detect external monitors, but if you use xrandr
(grandr and arandr are gui options) stumpwm should be able to pick up the
external monitor. Sometimes it doesn't, and so you'll need to run
"refresh-heads" using the colon command ("C-t :" by default)
