Hi Micah,
Last year I got no students, but two years ago one guy was interested
and did send a proposal. If my memory is correct, me and my "admin
mentor" were pinged about this at the beginning telling us that there
was a new application, then Karl assumed we would deal with this guy
directly.
Perhaps it will be easier to manage for you if you just send a reminder
from time to time when you get a new application (actually, the best
would be to get automatic emails in this case, but I didn't get any so
far), but otherwise leave the mentors do their own homework? :)
