GNU MediaGoblin participating in GSoC?

Hiya,

Is it possible (and not too late) for GNU MediaGoblin to participate in
the GNU umbrella of GSOC?  

We have a fleshed out page here:

Presumably we don't need this many, but I'm willing to be a mentor, and
four other people have volunteered as mentors also if we can join in.
