As Paul Box mentioned, there hasn't been much traffic on this
list as of yet, although there was a lot of interest expressed at
the SwarmFest in setting this list up and in getting a community
effort going to make Swarm work more closely with GIS tools
and vice/versa...

So - perhaps a good way to get thing moving would be to have everybody
on the gis list post a brief introduction about themselves, their work, and
what they'd like to do, or are doing, or would like to see done, to
help bring about better tools for multi-agent modelling in the
GIS context...it would be very good if you could list some of the
specific applications within which multi-agent modelling within
GIS data-bases would be beneficial and why..

Also, you might add some suggestions for topics to be
discussed on this list...at this point the sky's the limit!

If you are already using Swarm with some GIS data-base, let
us know about it and what is good/bad about your current
interface.....

  Yours in livelier computation....
