Complex Systems Summer School at Charles Sturt Uni.

Dear all

Charles Sturt University of Australia will host a summer school in 
complex systems on its Bathurst campus, running from the morning of 
Thursday December 3 to Sunday December 13 1998, with an optional 2 
day SWARM Workshop on December 14 and 15, 1998.  It follows the 
Complex Systems Conference in Sydney which runs until December 4. 

It will feature lectures on a wide range of topics including 

   self-organisation 
   fractals 
   non-linear dynamics and chaos 
   artificial life 
   cellular automata 
   evolutionary computation 
   neural dynamics 
   graph theory 
   parallel and distributed computing 
   applications in economics, ecology, internet and many more 

both as theory and practical examples. Practical laboratory sessions
will also be available in some of the topics. 

Registration is free to research students. Other attendees are
welcome with registration available by day, week, SWARM Workshop only,
or the whole summer school.
