order to port the rest of the libraries, but he din't get an answer in

It is 2 weeks I am out of town for work (the first week) and for a
conference (IDEAL02), so I had no time to update the list about my
work.
I have tried to compile Swarm with gcc3.1-1145, but the compiler was
not "patched" with objc-diff and it was not compiled (the objective-c
runtime) with -fgnu-runtime flag, so the objective-c code was
Next-style instead of gnu-style.
I'll be at home the 15 of August and I'll try to compile the gcc with
the right flags.
Actually I have a G4 933 at home (an Applestore gave it to me during
the holidays) so I can compile and do a patch to the code without
waiting for hours to finish the compilation (actually I am working on
a powerbook 300, and to compile gcc I need hours).
BTW avcall libraries runs well with gcc3.1-1145, there's no need to
patch the rs6000.s file.
All the other libraries run fine, from tcl to tk, to blt, libpng, zlib.
I hope to give you good news next week-end.
Regards.
ALEX
P.S. I subscribed to Savannah project.
