Howdy drones,
On behalf of the SDG, I'd like to introduce you to the new Swarm Wiki.
Point your favorite browser to:
http://wiki.swarm.org
This is an experiment in self-maintained project (and misc.)
information. If it works, we'll phase out the projects page on the
Swarm.org website (which is pretty stale, anyway). You'll also notice
that there are references to things only loosely related to Swarm, the
software package. Ideally, this Wiki will be a useful place for
anyone using Swarm-style agent-based modeling, regardless of their
tools or methods. We encourage you to go to the Wiki, learn
Wikipedia's editor, set up a username, and enter and *maintain* your
own project or tool information in the appropriate place.
There are some guidelines for using Wikis that you are encouraged
to follow at:
http://www.cscs.umich.edu:8123/wiki/SwarmWiki:Policies_and_guidelines
Note: You may also upload files to the Wiki and use that as a
mechanism to publish your code instead of submitting files to be added
to the ftp site. However, it's not clear how robust this method of
distributing your contribution will be. Others can manipulate the
pages, upload files over your files, etc. But, again, if it works,
use it.
Thanks.
