Parameter Managers and all that...

At SwarmFest, there was a lot of interest expressed in establishing
some more standardized means to manage model parameters. We had
a lively discussion on the topic, and there were a fair number
of people who had begun to address the problem of building
general-purpose parameter management tools...

I'd like to restart that discussion here on the swarm-support
list, as it was one of the things that the user community indicated
should be a high-priority for the Swarm Team to be working on...

So - all those who were/are interested in the topic, can we start
out by having you post a recap of your views/work on parameter
management in Swarm (or simulation in general)?

Those of you who have implemented parameter managers of one sort
or another, could you summarize your approach and your implementation?

For my part, I included a simple parameter manager in the
Experiment Swarm module in the Tutorial-1.0.1 series...it is not
general purpose, but provides one example of an approach
that could be generalized, perhaps....let's hear some others...

Cheers!
