color management

Hi, gang,

    Does anyone have something that passes for a display color manager?
Or do you use part of what's already in Swarm/Blt/Tcl/whatever?  I'm 
currently doing the heatbug-like thang, but would love to have something
like "standard pallette, 64-shade rainbow, plus 20 grayscale."  One of
those timesink fiddly bits I keep failing to get around to.
