Hi, Marcus et al,
        I'd like to put in a strong pitch for the Raster movie support
in Swarm 1.2.  Without this feature, BacSim isn't usable, so Gecko's
still in the position of supporting a custom Swarm for itself and the
last beta release of Swarm for BacSim.  The movies in BacSim are needed
because the runtimes are extremely long, and statistics can't capture 
the real test for "goodness":  it looks like a bacterial colony under 
such-and-such conditions after such-and-such time.  Hence, Jan runs the
jobs over a weekend, then watches the movie to see how it went. I
imagine more people with large jobs to analyze would use this playback
feature if it were supported and documented.
