Thanks for reporting this! It should be fixed in the next release.
Unfortunately, some of the activity library tests were not written correctly.
I've put a copy of the current test suite at:
ftp://ftp.santafe.edu/pub/swarm/tests.tar.gz
To use it, move aside the toplevel tests directory and untar this one,
then rebuild Swarm.
