Perhaps some package that was installed replaced a driver, and
that driver had this dependency in the executable.  
"objdump --private-headers X" can be used to inspect the import
tables of a given executable/dll/etc.

Any untested configuration could have a problem.  But if there was a loading
conflict, I think there'd be more noise about it.
