OK, let's be sure we are on the same page.  I help a lot of people
install swarm in linux and usually there is some little easy-to-fix step
that goes wrong. So:

First you installed the swarm-2.1.i386.rpm.  Hopefully, you did not try
to change the install directory with the prefix command or anything
fancy like that.  I'm using RedHat 6.1 and the SFI rpms work fine for
me. I don't know of any reason why redhat 6.0 would be a source of
trouble, but if we don't find  a simple explaination, then we will have
to think on that possibility.  The libtool package seems to get upgraded
a lot, I'd look at upgrading that if you cannot solve the problem by
repeating the next steps.

Then you untarred the swarmapps-2.1.tar.gz file. 

Then you type

export SWARMHOME=/usr

and cd into the directory where simpleExperBug is.

Then you type
 
make

And what happens then? You could send me the whole output, please.
