I've tried to get gdb to work but I'm encountering another problem. I've
downloaded the binary file of gdb, which I got from a link provided in an
earlier support message (Fri Mar 17 2000). When I run gdb on mousetrap I
get:
address@hidden mousetrap]$ ./gdb-20000105.i586-pc-linux-gnu ./mousetrap
GNU gdb 20000105
...
"i586-pc-linux-gnu"..."/home/trogers/swarmapps-2.1.1/mousetrap/./mousetrap":
not in executable format: File format not recognized
(gdb) q
address@hidden mousetrap]$ file mousetrap
mousetrap: Bourne shell script text
Can gdb not handle these type of files, or what I am doing wrong?
